Day 1: Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International airport our representative will meet and assist you to be transferred to hotel. (Rooms will be booked from previous night for immediate occupancy)

DAY 2: In Delhi
A city of great character, of contrasts and convolutions - this is Delhi, the capital city of India. A city with antiquity dating back over 2,000 years, it is also a modern metropolis with fast cars and neon lit shopping malls. So varied are the shades of Delhi's different faces, it is difficult to grasp it in a short span of time.
The Old City is the site where the Mughals and the Turkis rulers constructed several architectural marvels like the Jama Masjid (India's largest mosque) and Delhi Fort (Red Fort), Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb (Two World Heritage Sites) also drive past monuments like the India Gate, Jantar Mantar, The Lotus Temple, Laxminarayan Temple and Raj Ghat .

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur (260 Kms. Approx 6 Hrs on Car)
After Breakfast Drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur- Capital of state Rajasthan. Homeland of Rajput warriors, Which ruled over this part of India for over 1000 years. A project dreamed and realized by Bengali Architect Vidyasagar Bhattacharya. On Arrival check in at Hotel.

Day 4: In Jaipur
Morning after early breakfast, we proceed for Excursion to Amer fort.
Amer Fort- the ancient capital of the State until 1728, visit the Jai Mandir or the Hall of Victory, is noted for its inlaid panels and glittering mirror ceiling. Opposite the Jai Mandir is the Sukh Niwas, or Hall of pleasure, with an ivory-inlaid sandalwood door. Also see the glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant's back, the hill on which the Fort is situated. (Failing Jeep will be provided)
Later drive past Hawa Mahal, City palace and markets of Jaipur. Jaipur is shopper's paradise famous for Bandhej fabric and Jems & Jewellery iteams.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra (255 Kms. Approx 6 Hrs on car)
After breakfast proceed to Agra En-Route Visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri, about 40 kms before Agra, it was built by Emperor Akbar and abandoned within 12 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful building within the city including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other palaces.
Continue drive to Agra. On arrival check in at the hotel,

Day 6: In Agra
Full day city tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal and Agra fort.
Taj Mahal-An ideal epitome of love and dedication, the Taj Mahal was built by the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shahjahan in 1630 after the death of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. It is quite unique as it is the only shrine in the world that has created a hallmark in the whole world. This marble structure and an excellent example of 'Pietra Dura' work; Taj Mahal leaves the tourists coming to Agra spellbound.
Agra Fort - On the shores of River Yamuna, to the northwest of the Taj Mahal, Emperor Akbar started a majestic fort, which gained Jehangir and Shah Jahan as its future benefactors who added rose-red sandstone and marble buildings to it respectively. Within 2.5- km-long and 20 feet high fortified walls, the premises of the fort houses many visionary palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques.

Day 7: Agra-Jhansi-Orcha- Khazuraho.
After Breakfast transfer to Agra station to Board "Shatabdi Express" to Jhansi.
Departure from Agra: 08 17 Hrs.
Arrival at Jhansi: 1048 Hrs.
On Arrival at Jhansi drive to khazuraho. En-route visit Orcha. Orcha is on the bank of river Betwa. Earlier it was the capital of Bundelkhand. Nowadays orcha is a small village which is very tranquil and it provides retreat from the busy city life.
Further proceed to Khazuraho. On arrival at Khazuraho, check in at hotel.

Day 8: In Khazuraho
After Breakfast start your excursion of Khazuraho. The legendary temples of khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world's artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures.
After lunch half day temple tour of Westerna and Eastern group of temples.

Day 9 : Khazuraho - Varanasi (By Air)
After Breakfast transfer to Airport to Board flight to Varanasi.

Arrival at Varansi : 1410 Hrs
Often referred to as Benares, Varanasi is the oldest living city in the world. These few lines by Mark Twain say it all: "Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together". Hindus believe that one who is graced to die on the land of Varanasi would attain salvation and freedom from the cycle of birth and re-birth. Abode of Lord Shiva and Parvati, the origins of Varanasi are yet unknown. Ganges in Varanasi is believed to have the power to wash away the sins of mortals.
Evening site seeing of Sarnath. The Place where Budha gave his first Sermon.

Day 10: Varanasi - Kathmandu (By Air)
Early in the morning boat ride at River Ganges. Later proceed for city tour of Varanasi and visit temples.
Transfer to Varanasi Airport to flight to Kathmandu
Day 11: In Kathmandu
After Breakfast Start excursion of Kathmandu. Visit Budha Temples and Stupas, Palace of the king. Visit Old City, Krishna Temple, Varna Mahavir and Mahabudha. Afternoon visit Pashupatinath, which stands on the banks of the sacred river Bagamati.
Visit Boudhnath, the colossal and ancient stupa, which is one of the biggest in the world.
Swayambhunath: It is a small town made out of temples, monasteries, said to be 2000 years old and one of the world's oldest Buddhist chaityas.

Day 12: In Kathmandu
The ancient name of Patan was Lalitpur. It is indeed a city of beauty and grace. Planned on a circular format with Buddhist stupas on the four points of the compass, the city is a few miles south-east of Kathmandu, across the southern bank of the river Bagamati. Also visit Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, which is a three-storied pagoda-styled golden temple of Lokeshwar (Lord Buddha). Built in the 12th century A.D, Kumbheshwar, a five-storied pagoda style temple of Lord Shiva is a must-see.
Then proceed to Bakhtapur 14 kms from Kathmandu. Visit the palace of 55 windows.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for onwards connection.
Day 14: Delhi
Transfer to Delhi Airport for your flight back. |
